Food is always at the center of our adventures. So when we had the opportunity to be guests on the Nomadic Foodist’s podcast, we jumped at the chance.
For those who aren’t familiar with the Nomadic Foodist, it’s a blog and podcast dedicated to exploring the world through food and unique experiences. The host, Chris, believes that food is the best way to experience a new place and we couldn’t agree more! His podcast features interviews with other travelers and foodies, as well as tips and advice for exploring new destinations.
We touched on topics such as housesitting, budget travel, leaving comfort zones, driving abroad, and working through difficult moments while traveling. For any prospective adventurers out there who are curious about traveling full-time, you can hear a bit about our experience moving abroad, deciding to teach English online and how intimidating yet exciting it all was.
We mentioned some of our favorite foods from Asia and Europe, as well as some travel tips and most memorable moments, like our last days in Scotland or eating our way through Naples. Chris shared a lot of his travel and food experiences too and provided a lot of great resources for those searching for alternative ways of budget travel.
We want to extend a huge thank you to Chris for having us on his podcast. It was a delight to be able to share our experiences with his audience and to learn from his own travel stories. We encourage everyone to check out the podcast and follow Chris on social media for even more travel and food inspiration!
